Mt. Hope Farmers Produce Auction was started in 1995 as a wholesale market where local farmers can sell fresh produce, flowers, and seasonal goods in bulk. Today, the auction continues to serve growers and buyers throughout Ohio with regular seasonal sales, quality local products, and a simple buying experience.
From spring flowers and summer produce to pumpkins, squash, and fall decorations, the auction offers a convenient place for buyers to purchase fresh products directly from local growers.

Fresh, Local Produce Sold in Bulk
The Farmers Produce Auction was started in 1995 as a wholesale market for local farmers to grow and sell their produce in bulk to buyers throughout the state. The Produce Auction was the first of its kind started in Ohio and is currently one of the largest in the state.
The auction prides itself on selling fresh, quality produce, with most products provided by local growers from Holmes and Wayne County. The auction runs throughout the season, starting in April and continuing through the second week of November. In the spring, buyers will find flowers of all sorts and arrangements. During the summer months, the auction is packed with fresh fruits and produce from local growers. In the fall, pumpkin season is in full swing along with fall crops and squash.
The market is a one-stop source for buyers looking to purchase either a truckload of produce or several semi-loads and be on their way in less than three hours. Sales in April, May, and October run on Tuesdays and Thursdays. From June through September, sale days are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Please check the sale schedule for current dates and times.
